The Dunmore Lifeboats were: Henry Dodd, 1884 -1911; Fanny Harriet, 1911-1914; Michael Henry, 1914-1917; Lifeboat out of commission for most of 1917; Station Closed, 1919-1925; C & S,1925-1940; Annie Blanche Smith, 1940-1970; Douglas Hyde, 1970-1972; Dunleary, 1972-1973; Euphrosyne Kendal,1973-1975; St Patrick, 1975-1996; Elizabeth and Ronald 1996-to date. C&S was funded by monies left to the RNLI by Mr P. Coates and Miss E. Smith, hence the name C&S.
The boat longest on station was Annie Blanche Smith for 30 years. The Henry Dodd was 27 years on station. The St Patrick and the present boat Elizabeth and Ronald each share 21 years.
This photo and all the photos in the 2018 Calendar were also in previous calendars as 2018 was the Society’s 10th Birthday. This photo was also the February 2015 photo.
